Waiouru

Well now was this place freezing or what? We drove to Waiouru after leaving the ferry at about 1.30 in the morning. We arrived and Kotare parked the van and we all went to sleep rugged up.

In the morning we were told by the local cafe owners that it had dropped to -1 overnight. And we were out sleeping in a van. No wonder we all couldn't feel our toes.

So we rugged up and made breaky at a nearby park while we waited for the Army Museum to open. Wow these pics make us look like michelin men.
