Breakfasts by the side of the road

These times during the trip were sometimes the most fun. Scrounging around in the van for the box of food to find some quick and easy delicacies to feed the hungry hoards.

This wasn't an easy task as the van nearly had to be emptied each time what with blankets, jackets, sleeping bags, backpacks, shoes and stuffed toys packed in there it took some doing. We all pitched in and got things going and it gave us an opportunity to tidy up our vehicle in the process.

Whether baked beans or spaghetti with sausages or just cereal, it gave us a chance to stretch our legs and for the kids to play, climb or just work off that excess energy.

Elmo helps tick to conquer the tree.... two boys doing what boys do.

We could always rely on Henry to find what we needed in the van.
